With 8 years experience in the entertainments industry, 2 of these as a full time company, we provide a high quality and reliable service both before your event during the planning stages, and throughout your event. We'll always make your party or event one to remember, for all the right reasons, in any way we can!

We use superb stereo sound systems providing high quality audio at the volume you desire, whether it be to provide a nightclub style atmosphere or at a subtle level for less lively affairs. By using premium brands we're able to produce a crystal clear sound that doesn't leave your ears ringing at the end of night!

Our lighting system is second to none, with a range of quality effects to suit any occasion. We use modern lighting similar to that used in nightclubs, which reacts in time with the music to suit the tempo and create the right atmosphere. We don't use old fashioned "light boxes" or any home made lighting.

By using a PC based control system we're able to program the lights to suit the size of the venue and can even match your colour scheme, should you have one.

All equipment is maintained regularly to keep it safe and free from failure. We have our equipment tested each year for electrical safety (Portable Appliance Testing, or PAT for short) This is a legal requirement for any service provider to have in certain venues, and provides peace of mind that there will be no disasters.

In the unlikely event that any equipment does fail, we have backup equipment ready to go. This ensures your party can carry on, often without anyone even noticing.

We also update our shows throughout the year to keep up with advancing technology and to cater to different requirements.

We hold Public Liability Insurance to the value of £10million, this is a requirement for many venues.

Daniel Essex

Revolution Discos is owned and run by Daniel Essex, an experienced DJ and entertainer. A little about myself is included below -

I started DJ-ing back when I was still at school and started mainly with youth club parties and birthday parties for friends and neighbours. Since then, I've come a long way. Throughout the 7 years i've worked as a DJ i've had the opportunity to play to many different crowds at a wide range of events across the UK, as well as spending a summer working in Mallorca as a DJ in a family music bar.

Throughout this time i've acquired a vast knowledge of music, and had experience in choosing the appropriate music to play at each event. Every crowd is different and as such, a good DJ should be able to play different styles of music to best suit you, your guests and the type of event, and most importantley to keep people dancing!

I've also had the opportunity to work with many different types of equipment, which enables me to pick the right sound and lighting systems for your event. It is important that these are appropriate for the size of the room, the amount of guests and the style of music being played.

As well as being able to provide a good party I am always smartly dressed, presentable and approachable at your event and will interact with your guests, encouraging requests, making announcements and creating the party atmosphere!

Since 2007, I've been an active member of the National Association Of DJs, an association promoting professionalism within the DJ industry. All members are committed to providing a high quality service and subscribe to a code of conduct, so you can be sure I take my job and responsibilities seriously.

This has also given me the chance to network with other DJs, and provides a framework for me to constantly improve my skills and performance in an ever-evolving industry.

In 2008, I applied, and was accepted to join the Wedding DJ Association, a similar association for Wedding specialists.

For me, DJ-ing has gone from being an evening hobby, to a full time successful business, and this is largely due to the passion, enthusiasm and commitment I bring to every event. You can rest assured that by booking me, or one of my team, your event is in the hands of a professional, who cares just as much about the success of your event, as you do!
