Public Liability Insurance
Public Liability Insurance covers any damages in case of any accident caused by our equipment or staff members. It is to protect youself, your guests and your venue or property incase of any unfortunate incidents. All reputable DJs and event companies should hold PLI for your peace of mind.
It is now a requirement at many venues, that any service provider has their own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) cover and will usually be built into your contract with them. Booking any service provider who is unable to provide proof of this could result in your venue not allowing them to even setup.
We're pleased to confirm that we carry Public Liability Insurance up to the value of £10 Million. If your venue ask to see proof of this, simply let us know and we'll be happy to send you our details, or we can liase directly with the venue.
Portable Appliance Testing
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is an electrical safety test, to ensure that none of our equipment is dangerous, or could cause injury to you or any of your guests. We test all our equipment in-house and are C&G 2377 Qualified to do so, enabling us test equpiment regularly, usually after each event or hire.
Like PLI, it is possible that your venue will want to see proof of this test, before allowing us to work on their premesis. If they do ask, simply let us know and we'll be happy to send you our details, or we can liase directly with the venue.
ProDub License
This recently introduced licence (issued by MCPS & PPL) allows us to use music copied from CDs, that we've legally bought, on digital playout systems, such as purpose built mp3 "decks", computers, laptops & iPods.
Any DJ or entertainer, using copied tracks in this way must have the ProDub license to comply with the venues entertainment & music licences.
Some of our DJs use these systems and therefore hold the ProDub Licence, which again your venue may need to see. We are of course, happy to provide you with proof, or forward it direct to the venue.
