We always carry a huge variety of music to every function. Infact our database currently consists of over 15,000 tracks spanning from the 1950s to latest chart and pre release tracks, some of the most common genres are -

All our tracks have been carefully selected from quality sources, we don't use "re-recorded" tracks or use music from outdated sources such as cassette tapes or vinyl.

Although we have a vast collection of music, this is useless without a DJ who knows what tracks to play. Therefore we only use experienced DJs with a good knowledge of music and who know what to play to suit the occasion and get the party going!

Technology

For the past three years, Revolution Discos have been using computer playback systems to replace traditional CD players. This has many advantages, including -

• No skipping tracks, or degradation of CDs resulting in poor sound quality.
• Instant searches meaning your requests can be found straight away from our music database.
• The DJ can be more flexible with music selection and change their mind over what to play next based on crowd reactions and dance floor migrations, seconds before the end of the currently playing track.

Our DJ consoles also use dedicated hardware controllers, so if you're planning a club night our DJs can still mix tracks seamlessly in the same way as standard CD players.

Also worth mentioning is that all tracks on our computer system originate from original CDs or are legal downloads. All tracks are encoded in the best quality possible to ensure the sound quality is on par with the original CD.

We do not use poor quality mp3s from illegal filesharing websites.
